Cancer helped heal me. I know that sounds crazy but the year before I was diagnosed with breast cancer my mother passed away from ovarian cancer. I was so anger. I was angry with her for getting cancer. I was angry with her for dying from cancer. And I was angry with myself for feeling that way. When I was diagnosed I finally learned to forgive her and to forgive myself.

Diagnosed at 25 years old, I was given a less than 20% chance of survival. Through 4 fights against this disease, 55 chemo treatments, 28 radiation sessions, and 4 major surgeries, I'M FINALLY CANCER-FREE! The odds were against me, but I never let them define me. I began writing to share with other survivors that we are MORE than our diagnosis. It's better now than ever to LIVE. Let's go out and show cancer it messed with the wrong person!

I've been on some crazy roller coasters these last three years but when the going gets though, the tough get going. I'm a firm believer that with whatever gets thrown your way, there comes a point where we should put our foot down and WE decide what cancer can/can't take control of. You must continue to LIVE MAS and do what makes you happy.

When I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 26, I felt like my entire world was crumbling around me. I decided to make my journey public by showing the good times and the bad when cancer strikes. Throughout my entire journey, my motto has been to ``Sparkle On``. No matter what life throws at you, with a little positivity, bright lipstick, and some sparkles... You are bound to have a fantastic day!

I've been through 6 rounds of intense chemo and 20 rounds of radiation. My cancer journey has been for me, more of a blessing is disguise. It's transformed me into a completely different person and although cancer sucks, I wouldn't have changed the way that it happened for a thing. I hope to inspire more people on my journey!

It comes down to a simple choice, get busy living or get busy dying. Try your best to keep moving forward no matter what comes your way. Fear is a liar!!!

When I was just 14 years old, I was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. I had to go through 22 rounds of chemotherapy, 28 days of radiation, and have more than 5 surgeries. My passion in life has always been music so I decided to write a song to inspire people to never give up and keep fighting no matter what you're going through. My song is called ``It's Only Temporary`` and you can find it on iTunes. All the funding goes to benefit childhood cancer.

Cancer is a tough battle, but with the proper attitude you can learn to grow stronger from it. It has taught me to appreciate every day & take things one day at a time. Worrying about things that can't be changed is detrimental to the process. Positivity & faith are key in this journey & with those tools we can take on anything!
